Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anna!
A day trip to Walt Disney World Resort with your family sounds like so much fun. I think the
Park Hopper Option is a great idea for your group if you want to cover a lot of ground in one day. With four theme parks to explore, there's so much to see and do! My family always gets the Park Hopper because we love starting the morning at
Disney's Animal Kingdom and ending the night with some amazing food at
Epcot. You can visit the
admission information page to take a look and see what kind of tickets you need for the date you're visiting, and then select tickets for your family based on the age of each person traveling with you.
When it comes to
accessibility at Walt Disney World Resort, there are lots of options available to meet the needs of guests. Different accommodations can be made for both your dad and your son to make sure that everyone is included in the magic in a way that works for them. If you'd like to discuss your specific needs or find out what options will be best for your family, you can contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Now let's talk about my favorite attraction: the food! There are so many delicious snacks and meals to try and I find a new favorite on every vacation. The
Disney Dining Plan is available to guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so if you're just visiting for the day you won't be able to add it to your plans. There's no need to worry though because you will still be able to make your dining reservations 180 days in advance of your visit using the
My Disney Experience app, especially if you want to try some of the more popular dining experiences, like
Cinderella's Royal Table or
Be Our Guest Restaurant at
Magic Kingdom Park.
I hope this answers your questions, Anna, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
