We are planning a Disneyland vacation a couple weeks before Christmas. Are there any tips for my Grumpy type husband to WOW him on his first day? There will be three of us. My son is now 13 and is open to all things Disney.

    Hello Pamela!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

My husband is not as big of a Disney fanatic as I am, but even he gets goosebumps when we walk down Main Street U.S.A. at times. We have a few favorite areas in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that my husband and teen absolutely love.

In Disneyland Park, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. Anything Star Wars related gets high marks in our house. This is an attraction my boys can go on multiple times in a row and never get bored. Pirates of the Caribbean is another favorite that also gets visited multiple times!

Over in Disney California Adventure Park, no matter the age of my boys (or husband), Cars Land is the hands down winner. Walking down at dusk seeing the neon lit up takes my breath away. We also like to eat at Flo’s V8 Cafe and sit in the back of the area facing the Radiator Springs Racers ride. It’s so fun to see the cars zoom by!

There is plenty of history, attractions and delicious food to “WOW” anyone, but I think these three areas are great ones to experience! I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
