Hey there, Yvette! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
I am elated to hear that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort this coming October.
Halloween Time brings so much fun for the whole family and that includes
Mickey's Halloween Party. The 2018 dates for Halloween Time and Mickey's Halloween Party have not yet been released and tickets for this special event aren't on sale yet. The
Disney Parks Blog will be the first place that this information is announced, so subscribe to the blog and check back often this summer for the news to be released. In the past, most Mickey's Halloween Party dates did sell out, but if you buy your tickets early, you should have no problem.
Last year, the party took place in Disneyland Park which meant that the park closed early on select nights to those who did not have Mickey's Halloween Party tickets. However, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District remained open to all Guests. One thing to keep in mind as you plan your days and the number of theme park tickets is that, in the past, a Mickey's Halloween Party ticket typically allowed entry into the parks three hours prior to the party start time. So, some folks don't use a regular theme park ticket on the day they plan to attend the party. Instead, they take it easy at the hotel, do some swimming, or perhaps some shopping, and then start their park experience that day around 4:00 p.m. or so and attend the party later in the evening.
I hope this information was helpful. Please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
