Hi Jovanna!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. From a fellow New Mexican resident to another, I am so excited that you will be taking your very first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! You will find that the Disneyland Resort is exceptionally accommodating to the very young and young at heart alike. There are a number of attractions and entertainment options suitable for all ages. My toddler and his grandparents’ favorite activities together are setting sail on Pirates of the Caribbean and taking a Grand Circle Tour aboard the Disneyland Railroad.
To answer your question about the weather, just as temperatures in New Mexico can fluctuate in a day, you will find that Anaheim is similar. Mornings and evenings may be chilly while the afternoon sun can make for quite a warmer day, so I always suggest wearing layers. We like to utilize the
convenient lockers located in each park to put our sweatshirts, jackets, or souvenirs. Guests also get unlimited access to these lockers throughout the entire day.
When you visit in March, the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing. In my opinion, this is one of the most unique events at the Disneyland Resort! You are in for a real treat as over a dozen Festival Marketplace kiosks will be serving up delectable delights of Californian cuisine at Disney California Adventure Park. Also make sure to check back for special festival events such as cooking demonstrations and celebrity chef appearances that become available or may require a reservation.
I can’t wait for your family to experience the Disneyland resort, and please feel free to stop by with any additional questions before your trip!
Have a magical day!
Jennifer
