Hi, Christina!
Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I absolutely love to jingle all the way to
Disneyland Resort during the holiday season, and I know you will too. After all, it’s the only time of year when the Happiest Place on Earth is also the merriest!
Winter holiday decorations and other seasonal extras begin appearing around the resort in the first few days of November, with the exception of the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay, which is complete around late September and remains through the holiday season until early January. In my experience, Christmas holiday decor is gradually added at night when the parks are closed and is complete by the middle of November. The official dates for
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort festivities haven’t been announced for this year just yet, but I expect the timeline to be similar to last year's, which was November 10 to January 7. If you visit at the very beginning of November, you will likely be able to enjoy some of the Christmastime touches. However, if you wait until the second week of the month, the
holiday decor and entertainment will be in full swing and you’ll definitely be able to enjoy special offerings such as the “Holiday Time at Disneyland” Tour, "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks show,
Festive Foods Marketplace, and A Christmas Fantasy Parade!
I hope this helps you make your travel plans, Christina. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
