Hi there Alexis, welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you're planning a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"
You are correct that for the
Disney-approved Good Neighbor Hotels, the only option is to book a
vacation package that would include your hotel stay and your
theme park tickets. This is a very convenient option, but I totally understand that everyone may want to purchase their tickets individually with their preferred number of days and options.
I spoke to a Cast Member, and she advised that if you are looking to just book a Good Neighbor Hotel on its own and not a vacation package, then it is recommended that you book directly with the hotel instead of on the Disneyland site. There is an option to only book a
Disneyland Resort hotel without theme park tickets, but there is not the same option for Good Neighbor Hotels.
I'd advise heading straight to that hotel's site to book, but you can definitely use the Disneyland site as a resource! One of our favorite benefits of staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel is the
free breakfast that some of the hotels offer. It is a great way to save some money during the trip, and we always find it saves us some time in the morning to grab a quick breakfast on our walk to the parks!
I hope this information is helpful for you Alexis!
Please come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else for your trip this summer!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
