    We are planning to be at Disneyland September 12-18, 2017. I am reading about the Halloween and the rides that are changed. Will we be able to experience the decorated rides, or will we be there while the rides are closed to be decorated.

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted to let you know that all the Halloween fun will actually begin right in the middle of your trip!

    It was recently announced on the Disney Parks Blog that Halloween will return to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park starting on September 15th through October 31st. Not only will you be able to experience the Halloween favorites we've come to know and love, like Haunted Mansion Holiday, but you'll also be among the first to see Haul-O-Ween in Cars Land. In this newly announced Halloween overlay, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will be transformed into Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween.
