Hello were planning on going to Disneyland in Sep. this will be my sons first time visiting Disneyland. I'm a little worried because he's 2 1/2 and looks bigger for his age. Do I need to bring a copy of documentation stating his 2??

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diane. How exciting that you're planning your son's first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Children under 3 years of age do not require a park ticket. Disney Parks go by honor system and will take your word for it. However, it's not a bad idea to have a copy of your son's birth certificate as proper proof of age, just in case.

Be sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street USA in Disneyland or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure for your son's "First Trip" button to commemorate the occasion!

If you have further questions, please visit me on the Panel again!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
