I am planning on going to Disneyland in May with some family members who don’t live with me and was wondering if someone under the age of 18 needs to bring an ID to the gate?

Greetings Space Ranger, and welcome to planDisney

Thanks for stopping by as you prepare to blast off to infinity and beyond. It’s been great to hear from Guests like you who are anxiously awaiting their return to a land of magic, and we appreciate your patience as we assist everyone.

During the initial phase of reopening, as per guidance from the State of California, only residents of the Golden State are permitted to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. You must be logged into a Disneyland account associated with a California address when making theme park reservations for your party, and you will be asked to confirm that all members of your group reside in California. While proof of residency may be requested upon arrival at the theme parks, Guests under 18 years of age will not need to produce photo identification.

I hope this is helpful, Alec! Before you know it, you’ll be battling Emperor Zurg to ensure the safety of the Gamma Quadrant and beyond. Best wishes for a successful mission! Thanks again for coming to see us at planDisney, and remember, you’ve got a friend in me!
