We are planning on Disneyland in December. We cannot stand still for long periods of time or sit on the ground. What are options for fantastic, world of colour and fireworks.

Hey there, Cheryl. A winter wonderland visit to the Disneyland Resort sounds like a jolly good time. Let's chat more about some ways that you can make the most of your visit and comfortably enjoy as many nighttime spectaculars as possible.

There are a couple of options for some nighttime spectaculars that make the experience extra magical, as well as provide seating in a reserved area and off the ground. For Fantasmic!, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at River Belle Terrace and then enjoy the first performance right from your table. You can book this Premium Dining Package for Fantasmic! up to 60 days in advance. This is a very popular option, and with limited seating, reservations fill up very quickly, so I recommend having your fast fingers ready right when reservations open 60 days in advance.

When it comes to enjoying the projections and lights dancing on Paradise Bay, you'll want to consider booking the World of Color Dessert Party. With this package, you'll get a table in Paradise Gardens Park to enjoy some sweet and savory treats with delicious drinks before you enjoy the show from your table. Reservations are required for this experience as well and are available up to 60 days in advance.

When it comes to seating for fireworks at Disneyland Park, things get a bit trickier. The reserved seating that's available front and center is available to guests who book a Disneyland Resort VIP Tour. There is another option for seating if you book the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace. This package offers fireworks views from Tomorrowland. You won't be able to see any of the projections that go along with the show, but you'll definitely get a unique view of the fireworks. This package is also available to book up to 60 days in advance. Keep in mind that fireworks don't happen every night, so you'll want to check the Entertainment Calendar for availability.

You might also consider renting Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) for the day. There should be designated areas for guests with wheelchairs or ECVs to enjoy nighttime spectaculars. I recommend chatting with a Cast Member to see where these areas are located. Space is usually limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend arriving early to get the scoop and get your spot.

Cheryl, I hope that I've shared some information that's helpful for your visit this winter. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might have as you continue to plan. Until then, here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
