We are planning on going to Disneyland on August 9th 2025. Will the Haunted Mansion be open during this time? I know it closes to set up the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay sometime in August. Hoping it will be open when we come.

Hooray! You're only one month away from your vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth! The Haunted Mansion is a must-ride for our family every time, so I can understand why you are hoping to visit the foreboding estate! I have great news for you! I just checked the Daily Events Schedule, and the Haunted Mansion will close on August 11th to transform into Haunted Mansion Holiday. You can catch your doombuggy before this date, but beware of hitchhiking ghosts!

In case you weren't aware, Disneyland's 70th Anniversary Celebration is happening during your vacation! Be sure to check out the 70th Anniversary Guide on Disney Parks Blog before you arrive to help you plan what you want to see and do. I especially recommend seeing Paint the Night Parade and Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park!
