Planning my disneycation, trying to make each trip different with dining. I tried on the 180 day mark for dining and I still try daily to check if anything opens up. Is there a pattern noticed when cancellations are prominent more? I am trying everything!

    Hi Kaylyn,

I love the way you think! I have definitely been known to plan our Walt Disney World vacations around the food. There are so many incredible restaurants, it will take years to try them all! I'm up to the challenge.

There are a few things I do when I am trying to reserve a specific dining experience. First of all, I check non-traditional meal times like lunch at 10:30 a.m. or dinner at 4 p.m.

I love that you can also search for dining reservations by meal. This can save on time if you aren't nailed down to a specific hour in the day. To do this, go to the dining reservations page, choose your date and then in the drop-down for times, scroll all the way to the top and select breakfast, lunch, or dinner to see a range of available times for that meal.

Finally, you may have luck in the final week or two before your arrival date. This is the time that Guests are finalizing plans and they may decide to cancel or change a reservation.

I think you're on the right track by checking in occasionally. Wishing you pixie-dust on your search!

    Have a magical vacation.
