Planning our Disney World Vacation on last week of August until September. My daughter is turning 3 during the vacation period. Do we need to purchase a separate ticket for her on the days when she turned 3?

    Hi Thracie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, which will be even more magical since you will be celebrating your little princess's birthday. Guests don't age during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation (which means that all my trips to visit Mickey really are keeping me young)! This is great news for you because it means that since your daughter will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, she will be considered 2 years old for the duration of your trip. So you will not need to purchase theme park tickets for her since she will receive complimentary admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks for your entire vacation.

Even though you don't need a theme park ticket for her, this won't stop you from celebrating her birthday during your trip. You can add her birthday celebration to your dining reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. And every birthday needs a cake, which you can order to be delivered directly to a restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort or to your Disney Resort hotel room. Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button from any theme park Guest Relations location or any Disney Resort hotel front desk so Cast Members and other Guests can join in the celebration with you!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
