We are planning our Disney World vacation for the end of April and my son (2 1/2 years old) loves Lightening McQueen and all the Cars characters. Is there anything special at Disney World for him to see with the Cars characters?

    Ka-Chow Catherine,

My boys love "Cars" too and can't wait to see the new movie this summer. Your son can meet and have pictures taken with Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater at Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS). Of course they can't sign autographs - too hard - pens just get stuck in their tread.

They appear daily at Luigi's Garage near the Streets of America. Although their appearance times may vary, they were there continuous for most of the day when we last visited DHS. When you enter the park, be sure to pick up a Times Guide for DHS which will list the times they will be appearing that day.

You'll also find TONS of awesome Lightning McQueen merchandise throughout the parks so you might want to leave a little room while you're packing for all the cool new stuff your son will want to take home.

Now Git-R-Done and get your son over to DHS to meet Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
