We are planning a Disney World trip for our son’s 10th birthday. He has never been. Should we even consider bringing our almost 2 yr old daughter? I really want the family to go together, but willing to leave her home. We get so much conflicting advice.

    Hello Stacey!

First of all...Happy Birthday to your son!  Walt Disney World is the absolute BEST place to celebrate a very special birthday!

I totally understand your question.  I have five kids (ages 11 to 2), so this is a question I am asked all of the time.  My vote is to keep your family together and bring your 2 year old daughter!  Walt Disney World does an absolutely MAGICAL job at accommodating families with small children.  There are so many things your whole family will be able to experience together.  In fact, check out "Traveling with Little Ones" on the www.disneyworld.com website.  You will find some great information there to help you plan this special birthday trip for your whole family to enjoy.

While your daughter may not remember the trip, the rest of your family will remember the incredible memories each of you experienced on your vacation.  That is why I believe having your two year old there will only make those memories more magical!

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
