    Planning a Disney World trip in Oct. 2017. We will be traveling with a large group of family - 6 adults and 5 children - ages 1 yr to 11 yrs. We are hoping to stay all together or be close to each at an on resort property. Looking for recommendations.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family is large, as well, and we always travel to Walt Disney World with quite a group!

    There are many great options for accommodations on the Disney property that would work for you but let me tell you about a couple of our favorites. Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Villas and Disney's Beach Club Villas are all amazing choices and the kitchens make it easy to have some meals in your room if you would like and also give you plenty of space for a large group. Sometimes we book several rooms at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Contemporary Resort (two of our favorites!) for the convenience of Monorail transportation. No matter which Resort you choose, you really can't go wrong.

    Since you will be visiting in October of 2017, don't forget to check out Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You will definitely want to be part of the festivities!
