I am planning a Disney World trip with family; 6 adults and 6 children. We are targeting fall of 2023. I would like to plan a special experience covering 3-4 days. Is there someone I can work with to develop the plan?

    Welcome to planDisney, Christopher!

It looks like you're planning a magical vacation for your family! My planDisney friends and I love nothing more than helping fellow Guests have a special experience at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm a firm believer that Walt Disney World is the perfect place for people of all ages! It's equally enchanting for "big kids" and little kids.

Before we go any further, it's worth mentioning that Disney vacation packages for 2023 are yet to be released. In other words, you can't currently book hotel and Theme Park tickets for September 2023. However, when we look back on previous years, we see that Disney typically releases vacation packages for the following year around June. So keep that in mind as you move forward.

Once you're ready to book, you have a couple of options:

Option #1 — Book Over the Phone
Speak directly to a Cast Member and they will be able to book accommodation and tickets for you, as well as answer any questions you might have. You can even let them know your budget and they can find something that meets your needs.

Option #2 — Use an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner
There are a number of no-fee agents who can help you plan your vacation (often even saving you lots of money in the process).

As you seek to make your vacation "practically perfect in every way," let me share some planning tips:

    • If your budget allows, stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. With their detailed theming, unique storytelling, and world-class customer service, they really immerse you in the magic. Make sure you become familiar with all the magical benefits that are available to Guests staying on property. My favorite is the extra time in the Theme Parks!
    • Enjoy a special meal. One of the many benefits of staying on property is the ability to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Since restaurants fill up quickly, this means that you are far more likely to reserve a table. With so many amazing restaurants to try, you'll be spoilt for choice. A great option for a group your size is Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs.
    • Try and visit each of the four Theme Parks. Each one is delightfully magical in its own way. There are even extra special experiences to enjoy in the Enchanting Extras Collection.
Finally, as you plan and anticipate your trip, keep visiting us at planDisney. We're always here to share our knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our fellow Guests. Follow us on Instagram and check out our new planDisney podcast

    See ya real soon, Christopher!
