Hi Dana,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about theme park tickets. I am happy to help you plan your visit!
How exciting, your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just right around the corner! I like that you have given me very specific information about your dates and the length of ticket that you are planning on purchasing, this is so helpful. If you purchase a
3-day theme park ticket with the start date of August 29, 2023, then you are able to make your first visit to a theme park on August 29, 2023. You do not need to visit on that date, but your 3-day theme park ticket will expire after September 2, 2023. The dates that you visit do not need to be consecutive, but they certainly can be. So, if you want to visit the theme parks on August 31, September 1, and September 2 with your 3-day theme park ticket, you may do so. In the past, I have purchased theme park tickets with the first "use day" before my actual arrival when the price savings was significant, and I was sure that my plans were firm.
One more thing I want to make sure that you know is currently,
Disney Theme Park Reservations are needed in addition to your theme park tickets in order to visit the theme parks. Hakuna Matata ~ have, no worries there is good news!
All theme parks are currently available for the dates that you are looking to visit.
Have a wonderful vacation, Dana! Please let us know if we can help you with any more vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
