Hello. We are planning on going to Disney World June 2012 for our first visit. We are a family of 4, with a 16 yr old daughter (tomboy), and a 9 yr old son( large size for his age). Will they both be able to ride the same attractions?

    Hi Paula!

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but I think you are asking whether a 16 year old and a 9 year old would enjoy the same attractions.  I believe the answer is yes!  I have an 11 year old son and a 7 year old son.  With only a few exceptions, they can ride all of the attractions together, and more importantly, they both enjoy most of the attractions!

In the Magic Kingdom, my 7 year old does not enjoy Space Mountain.  In Animal Kingdom, my 7 year old has never been on Expedition Everest, and in Disney's Hollywood Studios, my youngest has never been on Tower of Terror or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.  They both enjoy all of the attractions in Epcot.

By the way, in the Magic Kingdom, my oldest son doesn't enjoy Dumbo or the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, because he thinks he is too old for them.  However,  he enjoys every other attraction there.

Enjoy planning your magical vacation and write back if you have any questions!
