Hello Michael,
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. I have traveled many times with my own children as infants. Seeing the delight and wonder in their tiny eyes from all the music, colors and lights brought sheer joy to my heart. I hope you are able to experience the same with your little one.
You are absolutely correct. Your child will be able to ride any
attraction that does not have a height requirement. Do keep in mind that although a ride might not have a height requirement does not necessarily mean you may want to take your child on it. For example, the Haunted Mansion is very dark and the spooky noises and music could frighten a little one. You know your child best, so I would just suggest keeping this in mind.
Do not forget about shows and entertainment, too. Watching the parade or a stage show offers a chance to sit down and get off your feet for a bit. My kids' favorite show as a tiny tot was the
Country Bear Jamboree and
Finding Nemo - The Musical. If your little one falls asleep in the stroller, take this opportunity to find a nearby show or grab a snack and take it easy.
Lastly, I would like to point out the
Baby Care Centers that are available at all four theme parks. These are a great spot to change your child, feed him/her, or simply to get a quiet break from the overstimulation of the parks.
Have a magical trip making lasting memories.
