    Hi all! I am planning a Disney World family vacation for June next year for my parents anniversary (the 25th this year and 26th anniversary next year) and first trip. Where can you make personalized family shirts before the trip with the Disney font?

    I love having matching shirts for our family vacations, they show up so well in the pictures!  There are places online that you can have the shirts made before your trip.  Zazzle.com will let you select different shirt styles, insert pictures and change your font style, but I don't believe that they have the Disney font.  Two other good resources it to check out etsy.com and eBay, you can find individuals that will hand make your shirts based on your specifications.Do a search for custom Disney shirts to take a look at what they may offer.  I have ordered numerous products from etsy.com and was always very happy with the result, as always with eBay be sure to check out a seller before buying.

    One fun and inexpensive way is to just make them yourself!On your computer just import any photos or images and add the text for your design, you can find lots of places to download the Disney font. Once you are happy with your design, visit any craft store and pick up iron on transfer sheets to use in your printer. I highly recommend using the transfer sheets for dark shirts (even if they are not dark), the quality of the transfer is much better and lasts longer than ones intended for white colored shirts.  Make sure to prewash your shirts without any fabric softener before placing the transfer on the shirts.  Instead of using an ironing board, place a towel with a white pillowcase over it on a hard surface.  The white pillowcase will prevent any lint from coming in contact with the transfer and set your iron to a medium high setting (make sure to turn any steam options off). The shirts literally take less than a couple of minutes to make and can save you quite a bit of money in the process.  I usually get the whole family to help and make it into a project a few weeks before our trip.
