Hi I am planning a Disney world family vacation for Christmas. Some of us are residents of Florida. If they buy Florida select tickets will there be blackout dates for Christmas time. I hate for them to buy the tickets and then not be able to get in

    Greetings, Patty!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are thrilled you stopped by to bring us your question. And how exciting to learn that you are planning a visit during my absolute favorite time to visit, Christmas!

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is always a magical experience. But there is just an added level of magic during the holidays. The decorations, the special events, the season’s flavors and smells filling the air… ahhh! I’m counting down to this holiday season already!

Patty, I’m happy to share that the Florida Resident Disney Select Tickets don’t have block-out dates. There are some specifications about these tickets to bear in mind. These are:

    - Tickets must be activated on or before December 31, 2018
    - Tickets expire 6-months after first use
    - Tickets can be used on nonconsecutive days
    - Proof of Florida residency is required

These tickets can also be upgraded to Annual Passes so you can continue enjoying the magic year-round. You can upgrade your tickets before they expire.

I hope you have a most magical holiday with your family! With so much to see and do, I know you will create some unforgettable memories during this visit. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to consider adding Memory Maker for your visit. Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers do an amazing job keeping the entire family in the photo and I know you’ll want to capture these moments so you can cherish and relive them for a long time!

Have a magical day and we hope to see you back real soon!
