We are planning a Disney vacation for Sept. 2011. Will Port Orleans Riverside have switched to queen beds by then?

The room renovations for Port Orleans Riverside will be on-going. Dates are always subject to change.

There is one building (Acadian) in the Mansion section of POR that is scheduled to begin renovation in late June, 2011. There may be a couple of buildings (Acadian and Magnolia Terrace) that are completed by September. However, the entire resort will not have made the switch from double beds to queens by this September 2011.

The renovation has completed at Port Orleans French Quarter. To insure queen beds, I would recommend staying at POFQ!
