Hi there, Kevin! Welcome to the planDisney panel! I’m so glad you’ve found us and brought your question along.
It sounds like you’ll soon be paying a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Whether this if your first visit or 100th, you likely know that things will look and feel a bit different than before ever since the phased reopening of the
Disney Parks. That Disney magic we all know and love is still there for us, however, we just have to be a bit more flexible and plan ahead so that everyone can enjoy it safely! The newest policies and procedures of the reopening are outlined on the
Experience Updates pages for your review.
One of the changes has been the inability to purchase new Annual Passes since the phased reopening. I spoke with
Guest Services regarding your question, and they told me what while there is no firm date available for the reinstatement of annual pass purchases, they do hope that it will happen before the end of the year!
In the past, it has been possible to upgrade a current ticket with remaining days to an Annual Pass on the spot during a vacation! My advice to you, Kevin, is to proceed with a standard Park Ticket for each day you wish to visit the Disney Parks during your upcoming trip, and if Annual Passes become available for purchase, either upgrade your tickets prior to your visit or during your trip. Check out the
Experience Updates pages for more Annual Pass details!
Whenever you visit, I hope that you have a magical trip. Please know that we are here for you and would love to help with any phase of your planning!
See ya real soon!
