Hi, there!
Shana, I'm so excited to hear you're planning a
holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. How very merry!
My family adores both Port Orleans Resort hotels. They offer many shared amenities, convenient ferryboat access to
Disney Springs, and loads of sweet Southern charm. While I prefer
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for its small size, cobblestone streets, and gas-lit lamps, my kids would choose
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. They especially love the buildings in Alligator Bayou, themed to one of their favorite Disney films, The Princess and the Frog. As a family of five, the rooms in this section are a great fit for us because they feature a kid-sized pull-down bed in addition to two queen-sized beds. Not only is this additional bed convenient, it's also super cute with the most precious backdrop of Louis, Tiana, and Naveen peacefully floating down the bayou under a firefly-lit sky. My boys loved this bed so much during our last stay that they had to alternate who slept in it each night! The great news is, no matter which Port Orleans Resort hotel you choose, you're sure to have a magical stay.
If you have any other questions about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with
little ones, please let me know. From strollers to Character Dining Experiences, and kid-friendly itineraries to Baby Care Centers, I've got lots of tips and advice that I'd love to share with you!
Thanks for stopping by, Shana!
