We are planning our Disney vacation in mid November. We are staying at the All-Star movies resort and have the dining plan that includes one sit down, one quick service, and a snack. We are planning on sending non perishables to our room. Any suggestions?

    Hello, Ashley!

You've got a lot of fun to look forward to during your upcoming stay in Walt Disney World!

First, you're going to love the Dining Plan! It's the perfect amount of food for each day, especially if you plan to grab breakfast in your room most days. We always ship non-perishables to our room for exactly that reason. I ship heavier items in one box, such as peanut butter and jelly, Nutella, juice and milk boxes, granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers and cracker sandwich packets. To save space, I take most packets out of their original boxes, and place them in gallon-sized zipper bags. I also throw in some extra zipper bags and use those in the park to store food, too. (We often are too full to enjoy a dessert that comes with a Quick-Service meal, so we'll order one which will last until we get back to our room, and place them in a quart or gallon-sized bag, for later.) In another box, I'll ship packets of muffins, a loaf of bread and mini-bagels. Once we're at the resort, we purchase a small container of butter and cream cheese, so we're all set for breakfast (we might splurge on a box of donuts, too...) If you count out what you'll need while you're there and ship the right amount, you'll have nothing left to ship back, too.

On our trip last week, our boxes were even in our room waiting for us upon check-in! Ask the Cast Member at All-Star Movies Resort where your box will be when you arrive, as the location varies from resort to resort and from time to time.

Have a wonderful trip! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too! I love to help!
