Hi moms! Planning a Disney vacation for May 2011 & thinking about staying at the Polynesian. I know they have a beach area but I wasn't sure if you could actually swim in the lagoon? Love the panel & thanks again!

    Hi Maria,

The Polynesian is an extraordinary resort to call home while on vacation at Walt Disney World.  The grounds are truly spectacular, and will have you wondering if you landed in Maui or Orlando.  The Poly does have a beach that is a wonderful spot to relax at and enjoy, however, swimming is not permitted.  The beach at the resort is my family's absolute favorite viewing spot for Wishes, the fireworks spectacular at the Magic Kingdom.

    Have a magical trip!
