We are planning a disney vacation June 2009. There will be 2 families of 4. The sports value hotel does not have refrigerators, but can you get a room with them and how much more would it be? Should we upgrade to a moderate hotel to get this convenience.

    Jamie,
I would suggest renting a fridge for your room. It’ll be more costly to upgrade to a moderate resort, if you are only interested in the extra fridge amenity.

There is a fee for the rental which is approximately $10/day. (Note that prices are subject to change.) Call the resort and have it noted on your reservation that you will need a refrigerator. Also inquire about current rental costs. If the fridge is needed for medical purposes (medications, for example), you should ask about receiving this fridge complimentary.

I would like to mention that sometimes these fridges are set at the maximum temperature level. If you do not want frozen items, check the setting before storing your goods.

Have a wonderful stay at the All Star Sports.
