I am planning a Disney vacation for my family of 5 plus my parents in another room and we can't decide!!! I really like the POR rates and grounds BUT I like the Allstar Music suite a lot too-which would be better? A big room w/kitchen or nicer grounds?help

    Hello Angela!

I have stayed in a suite at Disney's All Star Music Resort and in a room at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside Resort and totally understand your question!  Here is how I would break it down:

    *  If your family loves being in the Disney Parks from open to close, then I would recommend staying at the All Star Music Suite.  Essentially, you are using your suite as a place ONLY to sleep and get ready for your next MAGICAL day in the parks!  You are not there to walk around to enjoy the beautiful landscaping at the resort...you want to see the beautiful landscaping in the parks!  Also, having two full bathrooms really expedites the "getting ready" process as well.

    *  If your family likes to take their vacations at more of a leisurely pace, I would choose Disney's Port Orleans Resort.  If your family wants to take a break from the parks one day, Port Orleans is a great resort to walk around to see the manicured grounds and to enjoy the awesome pool.  The rooms are also very nicely decorated, allowing you to enjoy a true resort experience!

I hope that helps you in your planning!  If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
