Hi Kathy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.
I completely understand wanting to plan your visits to Walt Disney World Resort as early as possible. I already have most of mine for 2020 pretty much set and, like you, I’m already looking towards possibilities in 2021, too!
Based on past experience, even if you plan to book your 2021
Disney Resort Hotel Package with a travel agent, you’ll likely still need to wait until June 2020 before you can book your vacation. I’d recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog next year as that will be the first place where the booking window will be announced.
As for crowd levels, while I don’t think that there really is a “low season” anymore for crowd levels at Walt Disney World Resort, I typically find that the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are some of the best weeks for a visit, both due to (slightly) lower crowd levels and the wonderful decorations that are such an amazing part of the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Although there are some big events (such as the Pop Warner Cheerleading Competition) that can take place in early December, I’ve visited Walt Disney World while it’s taking place and I didn’t feel much of an impact in the Theme Parks.
I hope my answer helps you plan your 2021 Disney Parks vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
