Planning 1st Disney trip w/kids DS4 & DD7 Nov 7-16 and am undecided about the MVMCP. Since we are coming during the slow season and have a long trip planned with 2 days at MK is it worth the $$ for the party? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough question, Diana.  My initial response is that, yes, the cost of attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party would indeed be a magical investment for your family.  Here's why: that early in the season, the special Christmas parade and fireworks display are exclusive to the party.  In other words, you'd miss out on seeing the marching toy soldiers and festive holiday parade floats.  On the other hand, that early in November you might not be ready for Christmas, without having celebrated Thanksgiving!  If you'd attend the party just to get more time in on the attractions, then skip it.  If, on the other hand, you want a taste of Christmas at Disney, I would recommend buying tickets to the party.  I hope that gives you a little bit of clarity.  Good luck with your decision!
