Hello, I am planning a Disney trip where we will visiting each of the Disney parks. We are not staying at a Disney resort or hotel but are close to Disney Springs. What would be the best method of transportation from Disney springs to each of the parks?

Hey Howdy Hey Shaun and welcome to planDisney!

One of the biggest decisions when it comes to planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is selecting the right resort. Like anything, location is king! Sounds like you have planned things out well and can take advantage of some Disney transportation from Disney Springs to other locations. Let's review a few things and then go over some tips for navigating the resort.

Considering you are staying so close to Disney Springs and Walt Disney World in general, I would start in your hotel for transportation options. Many hotels that are near Disney World offer transportation to and from the parks at no cost. There is also the added benefit that they can get you close to the door to the parks as well as close to your home hotel. That would be my first suggestion on where to start.

As far as transportation once you are in Walt Disney World, there you will be able to take advantage of Resort Transportation. This transportation can take Guests almost anywhere on the property as long as you know where you are going! While there are specific buses that take Guests to and from Disney Springs to the parks, these buses only run at certain times of the day. If you take a bus from Disney Springs to say to Disney's Contemporary Resort, then you can walk to Magic Kingdom. Likewise, for a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort, you can walk to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. The tough one would be Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You would take a bus to any resort and then a bus from the resort to Animal Kingdom.

While taking resort transportation is an option, you also have the other option of rideshares such as Uber or Lyft to take you around the resort. One of the more special ways to get directly from one place to another you might want to look into Disney's Minnie Van Service. You will get personalized transportation by a Disney Cast Member to almost every location you wanted to on Disney property in a uniquely themed van. Super fun and a great experience!

I hope you found some useful tips with this information for your next trip. If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
