Hi ! I am planning a Disney trip and we are staying at the Anaheim Marriott. I was wondering how far is that hotel to the toy story parking lot? we are thinking of walking to the Toy Story bus to use but not sure what would be faster?

    Hi Alyssa!

Welcome to planDisney. With unforgettable memories and magic just around the corner, it's a great time to iron out any logistics to ensure smooth sailing through those Main Entrance Gates. You are going to love staying so close to the magic—I recently stayed at the Anaheim Marriott myself, so you've come to the right place!

The Toy Story Parking Area is located just across Harbor Blvd from the Anaheim Marriott. It's very convenient! I would say it's about a 10-minute walk, depending on your pace. The bus pick-up location is towards the middle of the lot, so you have a few minutes of walking even once you've entered the lot. You will want to look for the pedestrian path to guide you to the bus pick-up location, as it's a busy lot with lots of cars going in and out. If you're considering walking from the hotel to the Disneyland entrance, that would likely be a 20-25 minute walk. You will enter on the Harbor Blvd side, go through security, then head to the Esplanade before entering Disneyland or California Adventure. The buses from Toy Story run pretty frequently, but depending on how long you end up waiting, it may take just about the same amount of time for both routes. Of course, with the bus, you're feet get a rest before they hit Main Street! I do remember catching the Toy Story Bus at the end of a long park day, and it was a welcome respite!

Speaking of evenings, I can imagine you'll want to check out some of the latest nighttime spectaculars in honor of the 70th Anniversary! I highly recommend taking a peek at the Entertainment Schedule for your park days to earmark a few must-see shows. In some cases, you can catch more than one in a single evening! My go-to is to grab a spot along the parade route by "it's a small world" to see Paint the Night, timed perfectly to also catch the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the "it's a small world" façade!

Alyssa, I hope we've helped put the finishing touches on your planning. If you have any more questions, we love to chat about all things Disneyland and always have a friendly tip or two in our back pocket for friends. Come back to see us real soon here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
