Hi, Caitlin! You're off to a great start with your vacation planning! You knew to come to planDisney! I'm happy to offer some tips and advice on your visit later this year!

I am so glad that you've decided to stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection! Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel will give your family the opportunity to be immersed in the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! When it comes to deciding on which resort hotel you want to visit, you have many options! Here's what I suggest...ask yourself these three questions: 1) What is our hotel budget? 2) Which theme park do we plan on visiting most, 3) What type of hotel theme appeals most to our family? Answering these questions first will really help to narrow your decision! If you want to think about your answers to these questions and then re-visit planDisney, we can happily help you to select a Disney Resort Hotel that might be best for your visit!

You've picked a great time to visit! Fall at the Walt Disney World Resort is beautiful! I especially like when the fall and Halloween decorations go up! It is such a festive place to be! Staying for a full week is a great idea! That will give you time to visit the Disney Parks and to relax by the pool at the resort! Families with young children often forget that our little Mouseketeers need some downtime during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My kids enjoyed swimming at the resort pool almost as much as they enjoyed the Disney Parks! We always schedule one "day off" at the resort for every two-days spent at a theme park. You won't regret it!

Caitlin, when planning which days that you want to visit the Disney Parks, be sure to check the Disney Park Pass Reservation System. This calendar will show you which Disney Parks are available during the time you plan to visit! Remember, to enter a Disney Theme Park, you must have a valid theme park ticket and a reservation made for that park through the Disney Park Pass Reservation System.

Keep bringing your questions to planDisney! We'll help with all aspects of your magical vacation planning!
