Hey there, Catelyn! Your November Disney trip sounds like it’s going to be absolutely magical, especially with your girls being 8 and 9. This is such a fun age for the parks!
For rides, classics like
Peter Pan’s Flight, “
it’s a small world,”
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Dumbo are always hits with this age group. Don’t forget The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in
Magic Kingdom, and if they’re adventurous, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a fun family roller coaster.
For shows, I highly recommend Mickey’s PhilharMagic and Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage at Hollywood Studios. At
Epcot, the Frozen Ever After ride doubles as a show experience, and Disney’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival usually runs in early November, so you can try small bites and snacks from around the world, which is a fun way to explore together.
Oh, and don’t miss parades and fireworks at Magic Kingdom. If the noise is an issue for your girls, consider watching from a bit further back or on a ride like PeopleMover, which gives a glimpse without the full sound blast. This is my son's favorite way to watch the fireworks. The attraction lines are short during this time, so you can enjoy a few rides while others watch the fireworks.
Catelyn, enjoy your time at Walt Disney World. Stop by and see us again if you need help with dining options, too.
Toodles,
Korliss
