I am planning a Disney trip and am not staying at a Disney Resort. Do/can you still obtain a Magic Band? If not how does the Memory Maker option work? Do only the ticket passes I purchase get Magic Bands or all family & friends in my experience?

Hi, Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting us with your great question. While Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel receive MagicBands for free, Guests who are not staying on property at a Disney-owned resort may purchase MagicBands if they wish. The cost is currently $12.95 each, plus tax. They can be purchased at locations throughout the resort to be used in conjunction with your My Disney Experience account.
