Hi Claire!
I LOVE the Port Orleans Resorts as well. With growing teenage kids, I can see how it's appealing to have some more space in your room for sure! Keeping an affordable budget in mind, there's a few options that I'd suggest.
Booking two rooms at one of Disney's colorful Value Resorts would be an economical option while providing extra space. When making your reservation with a Cast Member by phone at (407) 939-7675, advise that you would like to reserve a multi-room booking with a note added to the reservation requesting adjoining & connecting rooms. This way you could keep the adjoining room door opened, turning your two rooms into a larger space with four double beds, two full bathrooms and even doubling your storage and closet space! I think you'd find this to be a great option. I LOVE the fun themes around
Disney's Pop Century Resort myself.
Another possibility to consider is a Family Suite. There are more than 200 suites at
Disney's All Star Movies Resort and the pricing is very affordable. Family Suite accommodations sleep up to 6 guests in a set up that includes a separate bedroom with King or Queen bed, a double-size sleeper sofa, convertible sleeper chair and convertible sleeper ottoman. Two tv's, a mini-kitchen and two full bathrooms make this a great set up for the family.
If extra space is what your family needs to make your next Walt Disney World vacation that much more enjoyable without breaking the bank, I think you will be very pleased with either of these options!
I hope that helps you out Claire. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if I can be of any further assistance to you as you plan your next family vacation!
Have a Magical time!
Kirsten
