We are planning our Disney trip for February. I know there is not a set schedule, but are there fireworks on the weekends? My kids really want to see them, but I don't want to go on a Saturday.

Hi, Christine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A big pat on the back for planning your Disneyland Resort vacation in advance! The planning process brings me almost as much as joy as being in the parks.

Firework spectaculars at the Disneyland Resort are typically on weekends - Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, they have also been scheduled on other days of the week for special events, holidays, and peak season days. It's hard to say exactly what the schedule will be like for 2018, but it might be safe to build your plans around fireworks only happening on weekends. Then, if fireworks are scheduled during week while you are at the Disneyland Resort, it will be a magical bonus.

Although fireworks may not be a nightly occurrence, you can probably count on Fantasmic! and World of Color each night of your vacation. Both shows are perfect for the whole family and are exhilarating ways to end your days at the parks. By February 2018, there may be other entertainment offerings as well, so keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements that might affect your trip next year.

Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have as you plan your vacation!
