We are planning a Disney trip in early November. How are the crowds at that time and what is the weather typically like? Is that a good time to go? ( we can't go any earlier in the fall because my son plays football).

    Hello Julia,

As a fellow Buckeye, I know how important football season is! But as you're shivering in the stands during the last few games of the season, you can look forward to some great weather in Florida!

My family went to Disney just before Thanksgiving last year. Loved it! For us, the high temps were in the mid- to upper- 70's during the day. That meant we could still wearing sandals. short sleeved shirts, shorts, and go swimming. Try telling your family and friends back home that! In the evenings, I would sometimes need a light sweater or sweatshirt but it was nothing compared to the chillier temperatures up north.

Aside from Thanksgiving week, typically crowds are really manageable because kids are in school and everyone's gearing up for the holidays. It's a fantastic time of year to visit.

Hope this helps. Happy trip planning!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
