Hi Alicia!
A birthday celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a Magical time, especially for your little princess!
The Disneyland Park is home to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where little girls can get Royal treatment with a gorgeous hairdo and their favorite princess dress! Plus, depending on the package you select, the birthday girl may be able to go straight to the front of the line to meet Disney princesses at Fantasy Faire!
As far as
when to visit the Disneyland Resort, I would say the following-- spring break tends to bring a lot of guests to the Parks. People love to vacation at the
Disneyland Resort because there is something for everyone to enjoy. While spring break is a very busy time, it's also the gateway to the busier months of summer. In other words, spring break, in my opinion, initiates the busy season at the Disneyland Resort.
That's not to say it's a bad time to visit. Guests can plan ahead and avoid long lines by using the
FASTPASS service for select attractions, make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance and download the
Disneyland Mobile App ahead of your trip and have it ready to find character meet & greets as well as park maps, parade times and access to your PhotoPass photos!
In terms of the weather during the months of April and May, you can count on warm, sunny days. Occasionally the month of April will bring rain showers but for the most part, you'll be able to enjoy warm weather and blue skies.
I hope this helps!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
