We are planning a Disney trip for Christmas,so excited!I wanted to know if we can decorate our resort room/windows?We will be staying at POR.I would like to bring a tree and a few other decorations so we can still have our 'christmas morning ' traditions.

Hi Joseph!!  Greetings to a fellow Georgian!!!

Christmas is such a magical time of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort!  It is definitely a special treat getting to spend the Christmas season there!!

You can definitely decorate your room/windows during your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort!  We have decorated our balcony before when we have been at Walt Disney World for Christmas.

The main recommendation I would make is to try to buy battery operated lights for your tree, room, or windows.  The main reasons for this is that it is safer than plugging in lights and often times there aren't outlets where you need them to be in the room.

I think this is a wonderful idea to bring some of your Christmas traditions from your home to what others consider their other home!!

    Have a magical trip!!
