Hi Alice!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the value and convenience it offers. I would definitely recommend upgrading from the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to the
Disney Dining Plan because it will give you more flexibility with where you can enjoy your dining, and will provide each Guest, per night of stay, one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, two Snacks and a refillable drink mug which can be refilled at the beverage stations at any of the Disney Resort hotels.
Whichever dining plan you choose, you may use your dining plan across the whole Resort, at the theme parks, water parks, Disney Resort hotels and at
Disney Springs. Currently, the entitlements required at
The BOATHOUSE (at Disney Springs) are two Table-Service credits per person for both lunch and dinner, and at
Be Our Guest Restaurant (at Magic Kingdom Park) you will need one Quick-Service credit per person for both breakfast and lunch, and two Table-Service credits per person for dinner. If you have the Disney Dining Plan, you can use those Table-Service credits for both of these restaurants, as it is entirely your choice as to how you use your entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please - maybe using more credits on one day, and less on another. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure.
While reservations are not required for Quick-Service restaurants, Table-Service dining reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either
online, or by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
