Hi! We are planning a Disney Private VIP Tour. Do we need to start our VIP Tour at the park we selected for our park reservation or can we start at any park? Thank you!

Hey, howdy, hey Jennifer, and welcome back to planDisney. I have enjoyed two to three Disney Private VIP Tours each year over the last four years so let's get you some advice to make this experience unforgettable.

Disney Private VIP Tours may start from anywhere within the Walt Disney World Resort area whether it is at a theme park, Disney Resorts Collection hotel, or Disney Springs. You will coordinate in advance when you fill out the reservation questionnaire and your VIP Tour Guide will meet you there. Definitely meet at a theme park if you can to reduce the amount of travel time. The more time in the van driving around the less time you have to enjoy attractions. We typically start in EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios and visit three to four theme parks. The more you try and pack in your minimum 7-hour tour the less you will be able to accomplish at each theme park and save long attractions, like Kilimanjaro Safaris, for non-tour days. I have enjoyed tours where we experienced all the headliners and popular attractions at every theme park and tours where we really focused on one or two theme parks to "do everything" there. The best part about Disney Private VIP Tours is that you do not need to rush around and can use the opportunity to have fun and stroll through the theme parks and attraction lines effortlessly.  Wherever you start remember to finish at the theme park where you want to watch fireworks.

planDisney Pro Tip: I usually begin my tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios because Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land have the attractions we would be willing to wait in the longest lines when not on tour. Beginning my day with VIP access to those areas sets the stage for an amazing adventure and ending it with Happily Ever After is practically perfect in every way.

Jennifer, I hope this information helps you in September. Please write me back directly with any follow-up questions. I am happy to help.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
