We are planning on going to a Disney park the day of our check in at the ft wilderness cabins. Can we go to our hotel and take advantage of the transportation there prior to our check in or do we have to go to the general parking lot.

    Hi, Catherine!

Thanks so much for sending your question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Ooh, you are going to LOVE your stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! My son and I just loved everything about our cabin, from the interior amenities to the rustic setting, and the resort is unlike any other at Walt Disney World!

My family often plans an early arrival when we can, giving us the option of a full day of park fun, even before getting into our Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. When you arrive at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, head to Front Desk Services to check in--if you haven't completed Online Check-in prior to that--and, if you need to store any bags, you can do so at Bell Services. From there, go right ahead and take advantage of all of the additional services and amenities that this great resort has to offer--including the complimentary Walt Disney World Bus Service or Walt Disney World Water Transportation to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Contemporary Resort

Be sure to have downloaded the super-handy My Disney Experience mobile app because you'll be able to see the exact location of your cabin once that information is available, as well as its location on the map, and directions for how to get there.

Start your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth as early as you'd like, Catherine. Great plan!

Be sure to send us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
