Planning for Disney in May 2013 & looking at the Contemporary. It would be me, my husband, & our 4 girls-ages 18, 6, 4 and 2. Does the 2 year old sleeping in a pack & play count toward the number of guests in the room? Looking @ Tower theme pa

Everyone who will physically be sleeping in the room counts, Anamarie.  That said, I can tell you that standard rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort can sleep up to five guests plus one child under the age of three in a portable crib.  With those guidelines in place, your family of six can be accommodated at Disney's Contemporary Resort in a standard room, at least for now.  Once your two-year-old celebrates her birthday you'll have outgrown the room and will need to book two or look elsewhere on property for more spacious accommodations.

The Contemporary is a great choice, by the way; the monorail resorts are so convenient to Magic Kingdom.  Have a great time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
