We are planning on going to Disney March of 2013 to celebrate our daughter's 5 bday. I haven't been there in yrs and we are a little overwhelmed with the amount of selections on line. Any tips on where to stay? dining?

    Hi Maria!

I know there is so much choice, and it can be very overwhelming.  Firstly, when choosing a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, start with your budget - there are Deluxe, Moderate and Value Resorts, and each has it's own charm and theming.  You will be sure to find a very nice resort within your price limit.  Then, to help you make a decision on which resort hotel to choose within your chosen category, perhaps decide which theme park you would like to be closest to, and that will help narrow your selection.

It is such fun to celebrate a birthday at Walt Disney World, especially so for a little princess!  I would recommend you try dining with the Disney princesses.  Cinderella's Royal Table, which is located inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom park, is a wonderful dining experience that you will all enjoy.  You meet Cinderella for photos before being shown to your table, where some of the other Disney princesses will visit with your family for autographs, and more photos.  This is a very popular experience so try and make your reservations as soon as they are available - 180 days in advance - either online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.  There is more princess dining at Akershus, in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot.  Chef Mickey's is a fun, lively character meal, that my family never misses.  You will meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. You could also dine with Pooh & friends at The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom park, in a beautiful conservatory setting.

I am limited for space here but if you would like to send me a direct question, outlining your family's preferences for a resort and for dining, I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
