Hi there, Durgadevi!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to “sea” that you are headed on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! It will be here before you know it and I know you must be so looking forward to the fun and adventure that awaits you onboard. My family's first Disney Cruise Line vacation was onboard the
Disney Magic where we made many memories and I hope the same for your family.
On disembarkation morning, the ship will arrive at port early and once Port Authorities have cleared the ship, then Guests will be allowed to disembark. Usually the earliest that Guests can begin disembarking is around 7:30AM. Guests that want to get off first will need to participate in the “Express Walk-Off” option and carry off their own luggage instead of leaving their luggage out the night before for the stateroom hosts and hostesses to remove from the ship for Guests. Soon after, Guests who do not opt for “Express Walk-Off” will begin to be called by groups to disembark the ship and collect their luggage in the terminal. Guests are asked to disembark by 9:00AM to allow the onboard Cast Members to prepare the ship for the next group of Guests that will be arriving later that day.
If you are contemplating
departure flight times, Disney Cruise Line recommends that Guests do not schedule departing flights prior to 11:30AM on disembarkation day. This allows Guests ample time to disembark, collect luggage, go through Customs and get to the airport for their departing flight.
Please come back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues!
Happy Sailing!
