Hi there, Susan! Welcome to planDisney! How exciting to be planning a
Disneyland Resort vacation for June. Early June is one of my favorite times to visit. The
tiki birds are singing, the flowers are in full bloom, and that summer magic is just beginning to sparkle.
The first step in planning your special trip is securing your
tickets and park reservations. I took a look at the park reservation availability calendar, and June 9 and 10 are currently Tier 1 ticket days. Even better news, there is availability for both parks right now. This means you can choose a One Day One Park ticket and visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, or opt for a Park Hopper ticket where you select a starting park and then hop to the other park beginning at 11 a.m.
June also places you right in the heart of the
Disneyland 70th Celebration. This milestone anniversary brings special entertainment, commemorative food and beverages, limited edition merchandise, and nostalgic touches throughout the parks that honor seven decades of storytelling and magic. It is a wonderful time to experience both classic attractions and anniversary-only offerings that make a visit feel extra memorable.
One more thing to keep in mind as you plan. June is also when some California high schools celebrate graduating seniors with Grad Nite events. These parties take place at Disney California Adventure after regular park hours, but you may notice an increase in cheerful graduates in the parks during the afternoon and evening. One of these Grad Nite events is scheduled for June 10, 2026.
Susan, it sounds like a fantastic time to visit, and you have some great options available. If you would like help deciding which park to start with or how to plan around Grad Nite evenings, I would be happy to help as you continue planning your magical visit to Disneyland Resort.
Many magical memories to you!
