    We are planning on going to disney for the first time on 9/9/09 to 9/15/09. We have a 19mosDS and a 3DS. Can you give me some suggestions for meal planning. Would like to do the BBQ, Tusker house breakfast and chef mickeys anything else?

    Hi Salina - Congratulations on planning your very first Disney vacation!  The restaurants you have already chosen are great for the ages of your children!  I do have a few more suggestions for you.

    • The Garden Grill at Epcot featuring Chip 'n Dale is lots of fun - the restaurant rotates slowly, and the food is excellent.  Much of the produce is grown right there in the Land pavilion.
    • The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom is one of our favorites.  It features characters from Winnie the Pooh, and the location is beautiful.  There's a great buffet, and you can choose either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
    • 'Ohana at the Polynesian has a fun breakfast hosted by Lilo and Stitch.  I'd also recommend dinner there.  While it's not a character meal at dinnertime, it's lots of fun and a great atmosphere.
    • Mama Melrose at Disney's Hollywood Studios isn't a character meal, but the food is great.
    I hope that helps!  Make sure you call 90 days in advance of your arrival to get the locations and times of your choice.
