I love a good plan for any visit to
Walt Disney World, so seeing your looking ahead makes me smile!
For me, I prefer to book that trip as soon as we've worked out the specifics. This enables us to secure the exact type of room at the particular resort hotel we'd like to enjoy. A plus? Should you find a magical
special offer on that stay, or if a similar set of dates with special offer pricing works just as well for you, you may be able to modify your reservation to take advantage of that.
To do so, go into your reservation on your
My Disney Experience account. There, you'll see if you can modify your hotel reservation, taking advantage of the special offer. If that isn't an option, take a look at this Frequently Asked Question that provides an alternative for
modifying hotel reservations.
Keep in mind that many of these special offers are very popular, so those options may book up quickly. Check back from time to time to see if an offer would work for you, then be sure to modify quickly. If your reservation cannot be modified to fit one of those offers, check the
cancellation and refund policy for your WDW resort stay. If your visit is 30 days away or more, you may be eligible for a full refund, enabling you to rebook your stay under the new special pricing with no penalty.
For me, booking early is a win-win!
